Conch Cam was built to be more than a camera in the corner. It’s an interactive element designed to pull guests in, break the ice, and create moments people actually remember. Born in Key West and operated by locals, Conch Cam is rooted in hospitality — not just photos.
I’ve spent my entire career on the service side of hospitality. I started in restaurants, working my way up from busser to server to bartender — moving from casual dining into fine dining and eventually upscale hotel cocktail bars and restaurants. That’s where I first fell in love with events. Eventually I found myself behind the bar at wedding venues, working hundreds of celebrations and watching them unfold from the most honest vantage point in the room: the guest perspective.
Outside of work, I was always hosting — dinner parties, themed gatherings, my own wedding — any excuse to bring people together. Over time, a pattern became clear: great events aren’t just beautiful, they’re engaging. Guests don’t just want to attend an event — they want to experience it. The best celebrations give people direction, interaction, and a reason to connect.
That perspective eventually led me into professional event planning, where I combined my hospitality background with my love for thoughtful, guest-focused design. Then came Conch Cam.
Living in Key West, I noticed most photo booth companies were traveling down from Miami and offering a very standard experience — functional, but forgettable. I saw an opportunity to create something different: a photo booth that felt intentional, personalized, and genuinely part of the celebration rather than an afterthought.
